Stop for a moment and look at this high capacity magazine that the Dayton shooter used. This is legal to purchase in America. Someone can just go buy this and the weapon it’s used with, without any background check, walk into our children’s school, our festivals, our movie theaters, our nightclubs, our concerts, our malls, our churches, our synagogues, our homes or on our streets and wreak carnage on dozens, perhaps hundreds of people in a matter of seconds or minutes. There is no place for these weapons of war in a civil society and get this...there are 5 million military style weapons in America today. That’s more than the US military has. As long as they are out there they will be used by angry people (men) to kill people in fits of rage. Let’s get real, this is not a mental illness issue. Everyone gets angry at some point in their life and makes decisions they later regret, when 5 million weapons like this are in people’s closets eventually some pissed off person crosses over the line and uses them. Today, there are more guns in America (393 million) than people (326 million) in 2018 more than 20 million guns were sold. last year there were nearly 40,000 gun violence deaths in America. If 40,000 people had died of the measles all of us would be doing everything in our power to stop the epidemic. The NRA and the gun industry have convinced us that this is an issue of Left and Right and while we argue over it and watch an average of 109 people die by gun violence each day, they earn billions in profits. The reality is that gun violence is a national health crisis and all of us can help end it. 1. Universal background checks 2. Banning military weapons and high capacity magazines 3. Create and enforce Red Flag laws to take weapons out of the hands of domestic abusers and other know threatening people’s hands is an easy start. Teaching our young people that picking up a gun is not the way to solve problems is another way each of us can address this issue head on. ++ VOTE for people who are serious about making change!!! DON’T GIVE UP!!! WE ARE CLOSE TO TURNING THE TIDE! #endgunviolence @everytown @momsdemand #theflower #banassaultweaponsnow #SenateVOTENow

Unfortunately there are a lot of troubled lost souls out there as these types of shootings have been going on for decades. We the public are unsure of mind control tactics used or false flags created to carry this violence out to further their possible agenda.
The craziest part about it is that international governments are the largest mass murderers in human history murdering over 169 Million unarmed civilians in the last century alone via fraudulent wars and egotistical power tripping state oppression!!! Are we as a species ok with this blatant bloodshed?
Are we OK with the environmental havoc all of this has caused worldwide? What about the Trillion$$$ spent on creating and manufacturing such weapons of death, cannot these resources be used for much better positive intentions. On average about 42,000 Americans die of Opioid overdoses annually (no thanks to Big Pharma), about 88,000 annually from Alcoholism and then another 400,000 from cigarette smoking. "Hollyweird", video games and Gangsta' rap glamorizes all of the above, what messages are they delivering??? Then we also have the other elephant in the room, since in the U.S of A alone we have more unarmed civilians killed by Police than all mass shootings combined, why is this NOT bought up in these "lamestream media" conversations??? IMHO, It is Time to ban ALL weapons of Mass death & destruction and to re-direct our energy & efforts towards Peace, Healing, Compassion, Conversation and Cleaning up the environment before Humanity self destructs. Unless this is the path that our species is meant to head towards in the bigger picture? I pray this is NOT the case as I KNOW we can ALL do so much BETTER! #endallwars #bepeacenow #questioneverything #endgunviolence #listentotheplants #honornature #waterislife #onelove

You know what’s more dangerous than these “weapons of war?” The media, and mass flows of misinformation that is regurgitated by influential people that don’t stop to research before regurgitating it again. The media is fucking dangerous, man! The only thing that has changed in relation to the increased number of shootings is our culture. The guns have remained the same, it’s our culture that needs to be addressed. We need to educate the youth on how to deal with LIFE and SOCIETY as a whole, and being aware of mental illness. However, since everyone is so consumed by THEIR lives and keeping THEIR noses pinned to THEIR phones, no one bothers to look up until shots are fired. I’m all for coming to a solution, but to punish me for the actions of another is not the way to do it. I feel bad for Cali and NY gun owners who literally barely have the ability to protect themselves. No more left and right, no more politics, this needs to happen between responsible gun owners and people who want gun reform. The CITIZENS of this country should be the ones coming to the table to figure it out. The CITIZENS are the ones that can make change happen. -Fin

The question isn't about getting rig of guns it's why are people killing each other.. getting rig of guns will change nothing making them illegal only takes them away from people who follow the law criminals dont do that.. there are so many people out there who careers and live depends on firearms peoples opinions shouldn't be able to change that what has bin going on is horrible but changing laws and causing huge issues for law abiding citizens out of anger is not the right thing to do.. they already have background checks and it's really sad you blame guns for this getting g rig of guns will put tens of thousands of people out of work and they will be so many people who can hunt and provide food for there family banning guns will do nothing but make things worse people dont look at the big pic when saying ban guns it's not the guns fault and all the people who's lives and jobs rely on it should not have to pay for people's opinions on banning guns that's just uneducated to think that's right to do

Any person who isnt for commonsense legislation is not an American (they dont care about their fellow citizens). They are not "God fearing". They are not "exercising their rights". They are not simply "protecting their family". Its NOT a part of their faith. They are STILL not embracing the second amendment. What they are doing is displaying some sick twisted version of a freedom. They are soo blinded by their repugnant ideology that they would rather embrace the most extreme version of a poorly defined and outdated law, versus caring for the common good and exercising common sense. There is no place for a weapon that was designed for killing humans in our society (there is no other way around it, it was 100% designed as a too for war). And this free market for people to freely sell products like this is absolutely crazy. We need commonsense legislation. I'm a gun owner and I'm 100% anti NRA, and 100% pro gun control. 😐

That is not a legal magazine in my state, In NY that's is considered highly illegal. Nor can one "walk in just anywhere and purchase a gun". There is a thorough background check, and vetting process. Just the sheer amount of guns in the states makes it impossible to implement a "ban" on fireams. The ONLY people a fiream ban would affect would be law abiding citizens, who would not misuse their fireams in the first place. Criminals will continue to purchase, smuggle, & sell on black markets to other criminals. The shootings will go on. The only difference being that law abiding individuals would no longer be able to protect their families. You want to remove violence? Start educating the youth, stop allowing media to spew lies and hate. Start spreading love, not racism & vengeance. The golden rule, the simplest truth yet so few follow it.

And yet over 99.5% of those guns have never killed anyone. Just like 99.5+% of gun owners haven’t killed anyone. More gun laws won’t stop criminals the same way drug laws have failed from getting drugs in an addicts hands. You say 109 people die from gun violence every day, yet you failed to mention the large majority is suicide by gun. Again, a person willing to die will find another way. Almost 200 people die every day in car accidents. Do we ban cars? Nope... 100 people die every day from flu, but we have flu shots... More die each year from obesity and things like cancer and diabetes yet we let MSM call THIS a crisis. The crisis is mental health.
Another crisis avoided, 70 people shot in Chicago alone in the last week. Yet NOTHING outside of Chicago is said. Why? Doesn’t fit the political agenda...
