supermillymillington Mustafi got dragged out of position, Suarez dragged him out, wandered away a little then spun in behind leaving Chambers desperately trying to cover. It's what top strikers do but also what top defenders should be aware of. In that situation a defensive midfielder drops and marks the striker leaving the defenders well positioned. Had Mustafi not gone with Suarez when he dropped in, then Suarez would have got the ball to his feet, which with 2 defenders facing him, is much better than offering him the space in behind one. Mustafi was naive and needs to learn to hold his position. I'd personally play Mustafi as last man, making him more positionally aware. I think he would be ok in that role.

Wouldn't be surprised if he left in a year or two and wound up as another Chamberlain, forcing a player to play out of position ruins motivation and development! Bring Bellerin back and give him play time in the centre, see how that goes!

dondjeneral We played and defended well. Couldn't believe we contained Barca for a while. Ozil was fantastic, Auba sharp, chambers, Socratis and Xhaka were aware. Everyone tried even with the aggressiveness of Barca trying to break down our attacks
