Photo by @PaulNicklen | I have so much respect and admiration for sharks. This is an animal that's designed to survive. Both fast and agile predators, spinner sharks catch their meals in quick bursts of speed, propelling themselves out of the water and twirling in the air before reentering. There were dozens of people in Florida's water within a few hundred yards of these sharks and they had no idea. And, of course, there was no conflict. The media world wants you to be scared of sharks. It makes for a great story. We have such a deep fear of them, but these prehistoric, charismatic, beautiful animals have barely scratched out a living. Explore my feed @PaulNicklen to learn just how close we are to losing sharks and what you can do right now to help one of the most at-risk species. #CITES4Sharks #ocean #aerial
