Spent the most magical few days with my cousins Nancy and Olivia while adjusting to the African time change. It’s been a bucket list item for me to visit Nancy ever since she moved to Botswana many decades ago. Thanks to the mission trip with @worldvisionusa who invited me to Zambia, I had the opportunity to be closer to her and finally see her African life. And it came at a miraculous time when she is fighting a brave battle with cancer and could use some family love before her next scan next week which we pray will show a reduction, or better yet an elimination, in the tumors. Praying for a full and total recovery for her, and strength for her family to keep her energy levels and positivity up as we head off on our next adventure. Love you Nance!

Wow it looks so much different than I would have expected! When you think Africa you think desert and small straw huts. I know that sounds awful but thats pretty much how the media has painted the picture in all of our minds. Her house is so beautiful and you all look so relaxed and at peace! What a blessing to be able to travel to Africa! I too have always wanted to go on a mission trip to Africa; I think it would be lifechanging. I will be praying right alongside you for total healing for Nancy and I know our God is a God of healing and restoration. Praying also for peace for her family, and the reassurance that God is in control! I don't quite honestly blame her for never coming back as you said; life must be so much more simple and humble in Africa and there's nothing wrong with that at all ❤️ Thanks for sharing a piece of your trip with us who may never get to make it there!

What a beautiful home! I would never have dreamed parts of Africa could look like this! I'm always interested in particulars when people make such life changes... like what do they do for a living, hows the price of living compare... what a truly amazing opportunity you are taking advantage of! 💜💜
