imjustaprotocoldroid @valadiatheartist i completely understand you’re saying she’s appropriating Greek culture and disrespecting it by not understanding what the statue represents to your culture. I guarantee you’ve done the same to the at least one other culture whether you realize it or not. Maybe not in an “art” sense but most likely in clothing or makeup in which you’ve chosen to adorn yourself. Or like if you’ve ever said something about having a spirit animal, it’s disrespectful to Native American cultures for example.

ginski79 @valadiatheartist look art is what you make of it. Art is created to make you have a reaction.. Positive or negative. If a visceral reaction happens, art has done it's job. But to have you attack @patmcgrathreal for posting something that she, in fact, did not create is ludicrous! She did not appropriate any culture by posting this photo by Paul Outerbridge. Please stop this "I'm offended at everything" bs.
