Happy 1 Week Gunnar Owen Alexander🙏🏽

I can’t recall a more impactful week in my entire 36 years Alive. I’ve cried SO MUCH. So many tears... all the many feels...Gunnars face in this vid describes it all.

I’ve felt the deepest most profound, is-this-real-life-awestruck, heart exploding gratitude. .
I’ve felt my heart physically move at the sight of this little human. I’ve felt so extremely exhausted after labor and the first 3 nights of no sleep that I felt out of my body.

Physically I’ve felt postpartum pain that makes any ski crash I’ve had feel like child’s play.
.
The emotional roller coaster of watching @roytuscany Become a father and our relationship stretching w the addition of this baby. Crazy and amazing. The joy and pain of watching my sisters fall in love is wild... my point is...
.
FEELINGS ARE A LOT OF WORK. GOOD NEWS IS: I’m eating my placenta (encapsulated) and finally getting some more sleep. Gunnar latched right away and eating is his favorite thing to do next to sleeping and pooping.

And I can’t wait to feel all of this again tomorrow.
