He can hike, climb, perform wilderness first aid, lead, and set up a tent in and get a fire going in record time. We even went white-water rafting for the first time last week. It's been a wonderful way for him to learn self-reliance and confidence. And hey, it helps keep him off his phone screen. Bonus.
