It’s such a prideful feeling when you’re in a gym, and someone working out comes up to you and says “wow you’re strong, are you an athlete?”
As you proceed to tell them you’re a figure skater, almost always the reaction is somewhere in the ballpark of “wow that’s why you’re so strong. Figure skaters are amazing athletes!”
It gives me so much pride to be a member of a sport who produces super strength athletes! So let’s keep getting stronger and pushing the boundaries! ⛸💪🏻
