New York Mayor Bill de Blasio faced a barrage of criticism at the CNN #DemDebate over his handling of the Eric Garner case, in which a police officer is accused of using an illegal chokehold on a man who’d repeatedly said “I can’t breathe.” Garner later died. The issue sparked a heated conversation about police violence and criminal justice among several candidates including de Blasio, Julián Castro, Joe Biden, Kirsten Gillibrand and Kamala Harris.

gunnertwo Let’s see, if Garner said - eleven times- he can’t breathe, he was breathing. If a choke hold was applied he couldn’t have said one word. That’s why it’s called a choke hold. He was arrested many times before. He got a ticket and had to appear in court. Why did he resist this time? De he see the chance of suing the NYPD? Maybe.

vindicare40k The problem with police violence is the blame always lays solely on the cops from Democrats. They will never acknowledge the full story or what led to the confrontation & why it escalated. They just see cops rolling up on a black person just walking down the sidewalk & shot them.
