Gov. Jay Inslee challenged former Vice President Joe Biden on his response to a question about climate change during the second night of CNN's #DemDebate. When asked if he would commit to ending the use of fossil fuels and fracking during his presidency, Biden hesitated before saying he would “work it out” of the American economy. Inslee said Biden didn't seem to understand the urgency. "We cannot work this out. The time is up,” Inslee said. “Our house is on fire. We have to stop using coal in ten years and we need a president to do it, or it won't get done. Get off coal. Save this country and the planet."

nancetourigny Jay, while his intentions may be good, is an idiot. The U.S. is not going to save the planet. China and other countries dump many times more pollution into the air and water than we do. Jay does not see nor understand the big picture of how to intelligently balance the needs of this country. You can't just say stop without having clear and sustainable solutions.
