I love this! Since the age of 10 have struggled with anxiety and depression. The last 7 years I have been with my husband and he has helped me in so many ways with my struggle. The struggle is still there though. I still find myself lapsing into old habits like apologizing if I feel like someone is mad or angry at me or shutting down if someone is mad or angry at me. I will then build it up in my head and start telling myself things that aren't true to bring myself down even more. However, those times are far and few in between since meeting, dating, and marrying my husband. Everyone needs to remember that you will have rough days and you might slip or regress but don't ever give in and let have it's way. You are worthy and deserve happiness and love. 💖💖💖

Thank you, Wil. For not making it seem like mental health struggles should be a deep dark secret, or something we can just “get over” I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression since my husband died last year. It upsets me so much that so many people think there is something wrong with me because I have bad days and I’m not ashamed to talk about it.

Thank you for being so open and honest. In doing so I have given myself permission to be open and honest with my mental health issues, and just doing that alone has made the struggle easier to deal with.
I struglgle with my mental health daily, and I am not ashamed of it anymore.

Love this @itswilwheaton ...I’m a psych nurse and I work in addiction medicine. Mental illness is as real as physical illness. Wouldn’t begrudge an asthmatic for having their condition, so It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.

Thank you @itswilwheaton. The struggle is real and I was feeling guilty about it being a struggle. Like I actually have control of it, not. I appreciate you Wil Wheaton.

Thank you! I was diagnosed as bipolar,, major depression, and PTSD. For the longest time I couldn't even tell my family. Getting better to not be so ashamed.
