Who do you know uses 6,700 Skywards Miles just to use a browser?
Two weeks ago, I received an email from Emirates to download their SKYWARDS GO app. An app that I could use to browse for activities and hotels in any country I’m in. When I downloaded the free app through the Apple store, it immediately downloaded without any payment because the app was free. Two weeks later, I noticed that 6,700 Skywards Miles were deducted from my account without any notice. When I called Emirate’s customer service, they immediately said the points were non refundable as if they’ve received this complaint before. I proceeded to ask for a supervisor, I was told they couldn’t get one on the phone and that I should wait 24 hours for them to call me due to Emirates’ policy. After pleading for close to an hour, a supervisor finally got on the phone to tell me that I should of known that I would lose 6,700 Skywards Miles to use a browsing app that I never used before. And to add more salt to the wound, I just found out that it has an expiration date of use, which my points will be gone in vain. My question is what kind of hoax is this, that Emirate Skywards Members are charged to use a frivolous browsing app that we would be later prompted for further payments if we should decide to select and use a product?! This is a hustle, a hoax and a cruddy way to run, what I thought was, a high class airline. Misleading and hidden fees should be beneath you Emirates. Emirates Skywards Members are classy elite people, who do not need to be tricked to pay for a product, any other way, would be insulting. Given true transparency, we would just pay for it if the product is worth it. SHAME ON YOU EMIRATES!!! You have insulted me! What new scheme is next? Believe me when I say, this could happen to any Emirates customer on an even larger scale, Emirates just has to get use to getting away with it on a smaller scale and then the sky’s the limit. This is beneath you Emirates!!!

Worst trip since reached the Airport! The staff are not friendly at all! We booked the flight with emirates to have it headache free! But this was not the case at all! Once that was best flights with Emirates is now total disappointment. Went to emirates airlines office to get all details right just in case! But when reached the counter the staff was rudely telling me “who ever told you this gave you wrong information” isn’t it same company? Same training ? Same system? But noooooo the lady in the counter along with the supervisor were treating us like stupid people and telling us if you don’t believe us come check system yourself! Even though the request was not received, the lady booked our seats in the end back sitting like sandwiches in the middle! Even though we wanted the window seats!
Boing 777 is literally a big bus seats are worse that flydubai, crew is barely able to pass between the seats

@emirates Even the directions of the doctors were not appplied easily who wrote on the report that my mum now is able to fly but with a "sleep" position you couldn't do an upgrade easily just for her, you did it when we were in the airport and telling you that we won't move if she is not on a lying position. Even that you couldn't do it with out trouble and the worst is that the plane on Business class was empty 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. You should know how to manage and how to treat your clients. Now I have a fly from Dubai to Paris and I swear you made me live the worst 3 days of my life. The worst experience ever.

@waedwade first of all read what you wrote yourself. You said that the doctor allowed your Mom to fly, but only in the “laying” position, so you should’ve booked a business class seat for her knowing that. Instead you book an economy seat and make a huge drama because no one would do free and “easy” upgrade for you. That is your problem, not the company’s. Secondly how can someone, a steward to be more precise, “kick your mom with his knee in her neck” on the plane?!? Was he doing karate in the plane?!

The thing is that crew doesn‘t have the authority to upgrade passengers, without receiving a payment, it’s same for any company. Another department is dealing with this sort of upgrades. It‘s a rule. Violating rules at work could have consequences for the one who goes against them. It doesn‘t matter if the class is empty, is it fair for you to have paid 2k $ and then the crew just decides that someone who paid 10x less gets to have a seat next to you just because it‘s vacant?

@miezislay Omg I am not a teacher to explain and make you understand because you don't know how to read but I thought child at your age know already read ! We didn't asked for a FREE UPGRADE ... Our tickets were already booked we were ALREADY in THE PLANE ... A STEWART KICKED MY MUM with his knee in her neck IN THE PLANE !!!!!!! Is it clear now ? I really advise you to go to school and learn how to read and write, you know it's important ...
