Hunter Sego was a star football player, but after he learned that his mom and dad were struggling to pay for his insulin, he began rationing his doses and his health began to suffer.
We have lost too many of our people, especially young people, who rationed insulin because they were forced to choose between medicine and food or rent. It is time for a government that makes it clear that the drug companies' profits are not more important than human lives.

@drgrenskye well what about his general socialist policies? He frequently targets people with net worths of millions and the so-called 1%. However, he recently has joined the 1%. He stated that he will pay the lowest amount of tax for what he earns. He doesn’t donate large amounts of his money to charity, he keeps it for himself. The funny thing is, he made a big chunk of this money selling books on socialist ideology. I find this hypocritical as his ideas suggest having up to a 70% increase of taxation for the general population, he can’t even set an example of that for himself and his followers. Need I say more?

@bogluke I think Trump is the King of Contradictions here. In fact I Googled it and some dude has made Flip Flops out of his contradictory tweets. https://amp.businessinsider.com/president-trump-flip-flops-made-from-tweets-2018-12. But in any case actions speak louder than words: Bernie is taking people to Canada for affordable drugs while Trump hasn't changed a thing.

Love everything you stand for but I wish you would step back and lend your clout to a younger candidate. You brought the party left and shined a light on important conversations we’re now all talking about, but you’re of a different age- I wish you could see that, just as Biden needs to see it in himself, and take your rightful throne as progressive yoda- ❤️

I just had surgery in Japan and it was excellent at one of the best hospitals in the world and at half the cost...As a foreigner. Much cheaper for the Japanese. They have the same technology and great town to doctors and amazing nurses. Why is For-profit healthcare a bad thing, because they are profiting off of your health 😳

On the front to type 2 diabetes, if we had a FDA that was looking out for the health of the people they serve rather then helping to support special interests there would be even less people in need of insulin. The list goes on... thank you @berniesanders for all your hard work on both of these fronts.

I'm from Puerto Rico, I had a best friend diabetic since she was 7 she's my age 25, I saw how she and her grandma had to share insulin because she had to wait for her prescription date so she could have hers, they didn't have the money to buy the insulin before the prescription date.
