There is an art to living, it’s really quite simple, but it does require a bit of authenticity and intentionality. The idea that living your best life is pretty much garbage. Very few of us can ever live without fear of debt, or work, or taxes, or the limitations of a modern capitalist life. We can however take and make moments in each day to live as ourselves and for ourselves. Moments with our favorite people, foods, places, books, etc. Moments to entertain our own thoughts and our own prayers to the universe. Quiet simple reminders that we are not alone and that we are in control of how we face the adversities and changes and challenges of life. On this sunny summer day may you have many moments to be reminded of the simple goodnesses of life. However big or little they might be.
