marvelous_ma_ree_ah @marcilatimer every age is tough!! But teen years are tougher because their hormones don’t help. We aren’t their best friends, we are the “enemy” ??? At 2, they don’t see us that way yet and that’s so wonderful and beautiful ....I say take advantage til they don’t want to hang out with us (teen years)

marcilatimer @corrinabourdeau oh trust me, I can totally relate. It’s a struggle every single day. Even as a 40-something year old it is hard. I have more good days than bad. So far, thankfully, my 14 yr old son is so laid back. They joke that he is the jing to her yang. ? At least they can joke about it!

harakessaris This is so true. Now that mine are 12 and 9 I look back and understand how critical age 2 is for their character and healthy personality building and I realize I made a lot of mistakes then by thinking that setting the boundaries was the top priority. I wish I had today’s wisdom back then. 😏

pjmama1962 @mommasgonecity I have been at both ages lol. My daughter turns 25 this year, is engaged and doesn’t live at home and it never really gets easier just better coping skills ☺️?. From what I have seen you and your hubs are doing just fine, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise ✌?✌?✌?✌?

katontherun @marcilatimer I love this thread so much. I'm not a mom, but lost mine about 13 years ago and learning more and more each year how much of her heart and soul she put out on the line to make sure my sisters and I were okay every day. You're all so appreciated, mamas!

jen_procick @mommasgonecity my youngest will be 3 in September and he is fascinating to be around! And so much energy! For them they want to explore and take it all in, and adults try to contain them and herd them to what they want. Cheers to toddler Mama's!
