I haven’t trained like this since January and I won’t be training like this for at least another 3 months (and after all my checks from GP) But seeing old videos of what myself and Evil Steve did @upfitnesslive makes me excited for the next phase! Being strong & healthy for myself was a must. But being strong & healthy for myself and now my daughter is an even bigger must! Looking forward to my new PB’s new goals and new chances to tell Evil Steve to f••k off 😂💪🏼❤️ #mumswholift

My PT is evil too, in a good way.? I swear at her constantly as she definitely pushes me to my limits but I love it. Been lifting weights nearly a year now with a group of lovely ladies, I'm the oldest at 44 and my 14 year old daughter joins us once a week. I love the changes it's made to my body, how strong I feel and how for that session I completely switch off purely cos it's so bloody hard! Loving seeing my daughter push through what she thinks her limits are too, she's super strong and determined. I'm using your book for recipe ideas too, it's helping me lots - thank you. ? x

I started strength and conditioning late January after having my daughter in October. I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight (I was too overweight when I fell pregnant... so still have a way to go) but I'm happy with my progress, my body is different now, not in a bad way, it's just different, my bp is now really good (high during pregnancy). Starting training I'm stronger, I feel strong, I'm happier. I know it's important to be healthy both mentally and physically, I need that for me and to give my baby girl a positive influence growing up x

@glouiseatkinson Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl and becoming a mummy ?As a post natal specialist PT I would highly recommend you spend some time working with a Burrell Educated Post Natal PT for a while before commencing your old training regime.. It will set you up for being able to do more in the long run and preserve your pelvic floor ?
It would be amazing to see celebrities like yourself promoting safe and effective post natal exercise ????♀️?

Glad you’re taking your time @glouiseatkinson think you should start back with yoga before weights personally as I can’t tell you the damage that occurs to our ligaments etc during childbirth and if you had a section you want to gently re-knit everything. So pleased everything went well despite the emergency section. Beautiful baby girl. So wish I could do it all over again 💞
but sadly am too old 😂 enjoy xxx

I can honestly say that I gained a much better bod and a 6 pack after having kids as your mental strength increases with parenthood ?%. I look forward to seeing your results for sure but for now, my advice to you is to make the most of your tiny, beautiful baby as it goes way too fast ?. My baby girl is 5 next week. SOB. Congrats. Xx

You’re an inspiration. I had my little boy via C section 6 weeks ago and went back to the gym 2 weeks ago just to do gentle training- no stomach work. And I’ve been moaned at constantly by family and friends for going too soon. But I found it was about mental health as much as physical to have that break and do something for yourself x
