I am sick and tired of talking to doctors who tell me about the patients who were uninsured and walked into the doctor’s office when it was too late.
I am sick and tired of hearing from constituents who are forced to cut their pills in half due to the cost.
I am sick and tired of talking with people who are struggling with mental illness but cannot afford the mental health counseling they desperately need.
I am tired of talking to people who have teeth that are rotting in their mouths, but cannot afford the high cost of dental care.
Now is the time to tell the health care industry that your profits are not more important than the lives of the American people.
Now is the time to pass Medicare for All.

I know you are a busy man but if time is ever available, may I suggest that you look into Drug Policy Reform. I wish that you model it off of how Portugal did it, they had a drug crisis and then became a model for drug reform. We loose great, hard-working people to addiction everyday. The world could benefit from a better system. Thank you for your time <3.

shadowbeaver The only “people” profiting right now are insurance companies. Patient coverage is terrible and the leaps and bounds doctors have to go through to get terrible/low reimbursement is insane. Not to mention the hours of paper work just to get denied from insurance companies. Coverage must include preventative care and palliative care.

bearpawproduction Bernie. you have my vote and my contribution. Ithink 52 with ESRD because I couldn't afford care ands will probably die waiting on a kidney. Medical treatment should not be a privilege. Hospitals should not be for profit with shareholders.

burd.ette Americans work like dogs, making their employers wealthy. It doesn't seem too much to ask, that some of the wealth generated should go towards providing health care for everyone. A healthy nation is a happy and PRODUCTIVE nation!
