Medicare for All means stability. You’ll never lose coverage.

I’m all in but this country is just so slow to realize what’s good for them. If we open up Medicare for all for people to buy in to or pay a tax on their paychecks and then start changing over, the industry will fall on its head because MANY people would buy in. These greedy insurance agencies won’t survive when they lose to Medicare. Business rates would go up for those employees that want to keep their private insurance and then they would jump ship too because they wouldn’t be able to afford it. You could even do a corporate buy-in option so if companies didn’t want to go private route they didn’t have to. I think we have to open it up and watch the industry fall cus they won’t be able to compete with Medicare on costs. I’m only saying this cus people aren’t understanding and we need to move the needle by opening access and the people will come!

Medicare for all is not a radical idea. Single payer is paid out of your taxes. No one left out no one left behind. It works it’s in place and it’s cheap. Why are the Republicans and some Democrats so against it? Because they’re tied to the healthcare industry. Big Pharma big insurance. Healthcare should never be for profit. Nancy Pelosi speaker of the house is against universal healthcare. Why she’s taken over $1 million from the healthcare industry. It’s not hard to check on who takes money.#NoCorporatePuppets

Every time I'm asked if I hit the lottery, what is the first thing I will buy, or if I could do something great, I say "I'd buy my mom a new pair of knees." Everyone's moms should have a new pair of whatever they need. She is a contract/per diem nurse, who can't work a regular full time schedule because her knees can't handle it, and she has no insurance. Some of her residents she cares for gets around better than her. It's not just people leaching off the system who are suffering.

Medicare for All does not have to get rid of private insurance companies. Just allow everyone under 65 to buy into Medicare as an alternative to or in addition to private insurance. If people want to keep their private insurance, let them. Many people still don't trust the government to provide health care coverage. But as more and more people choose Medicare private health insurance might evaporate on its own. Follow the example of other nations.

@the_concerned_american So you would rather pay taxes to support corporate welfare? Amazon got over a $200 million tax REFUND. This is a fact. I know I know facts are a difficult concept. The richest man in The entire world, Jeff Bezos, runs a company that is so successful that the government contributes to its coffers. How are you not outraged that the cards are stacked against you and nearly everyone else in this country.

40 trillion dollars though? We’re 20 trillion in debt already...explain in “detail” how you will pay for it while reducing the debt and maybe I’d consider it. Ie...how much will you have to raise taxes on working people to implement MFA?
