Get ⚡️charged up for the weekend! Florida’s dramatic thunderstorms and gorgeous wetlands make an appearance together at Arthur R. Marshall #Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. The refuge, located in Broward and Palm Beach Counties – protects the northern #Everglades and the mosaic of plants and animals that call this ecosystem home. Thunderstorms! Beautiful and powerful, for sure. But how come Secty Bernhardt won’t let Interior staff use the words “climate change”? ? Cuz few places are as vulnerable to the economic, public health, and housing impacts of climate change than Florida. Miami floods every time it rains and banks are threatening to withhold mortgages on houses. ? Corruption? Willful ignorance? Irrational rejection of science?

Wish these actual photos were tagged, too, so we could zip over to the original post and show the photographer some ❤️. Fabulous shot, @r_o_s_s_m_a_c!

When posting great photographs it would be good to see the date the photo was taken. Like people environments change.
