Neuspeh je sastavni deo uspeha. Mrzim da gubim. Kao klinac često smo igrali "ne ljuti se čoveče" mama, sestra i ja. Dok sam pobeđivao sve bilo dobro, ali poraz bih doživeo kao katastrofu. Plakao sam, svađao sam se, govorio da više neću da igram itd. Kad sam počeo da se takmičim bilo je slično. Nakon poraza bili bi mi potrebni sati, ako ne čitav dan da svarim to što sam izgubio.
Ono što sam kasnijih godina naučio jeste da nema uspeha bez padova, bez neuspeha. To je nešto što po mom mišljenju mnogi ne shvataju. Prilično sam siguran da sam u životu doživeo više neuspeha od 95% ljudi a ipak se donekle smatram "uspešnim". Padovi mogu da posluže da me vrate na pravi put, da zastanem malo i razmislim šta bih trebao promeniti i mogu dati dodatnu motivaciju. S toga pokušavam da iz njih izvučem nešto pozitivno i da ih iskoristim na najbolji mogući način. Bitno je konstantno napredovati. Nije neuspeh pasti, ne nastaviti dalje i odustati, to je neuspeh.

Failure is part of succes. I hate to lose. As a kid I often played board games with my sister and mother. Till I was winning everything was fine, but if I'd lose it would be a catastrophe for me. I would cry, argue and tell that I don't want to play anymore etc. When I started competing in tennis not much changed. After a lost match I would need hours if not a whole day to get over it. Over a period of time I have learn't that there is no success without downs and failures. In my opinion it is something that lots of people don't understand. I am pretty sure that I had more failures in my life than 95% of the people, but still in a way I am considered as a "succesful" person. Downs can serve to help me get back on track, to stop for a moment and get me think what should I change and also can give me extra motivation. Therefore I try to learn from failures and use them in a positive, constructive way. It's important to improve all the time. Failure is not failing at something, giving up and not trying anymore that's failure.

ovasiljevic I had a privilege to share the room with @lacidj_95, while playing some of the international tournaments as a 14 year old boy. I personally remember his long phone call talks with his parents every time he lost a match. And i remember hard times he had every time he lost in competition. And i remember people calling him a wirdow because of going to bed early while other kids would go out and play with their friends... True example of real love for this sport! That’s what makes a difference! He deserved not only this but even more, which he will achieve in future!!!
