mararosie This is a great step! We also need to teach our younger generations that women teams are just as amazing to watch and support as men’s teams. I hear plenty of derogatory comments. Why haven’t women sports been viewed or promoted as much? Because we’ve been taught we aren’t as important and that is false. Our soccer team here has shown us time and again they are better. Same in Mn. Our Lynx Basketball team always does better then the Timberwolves. They should definitely be making as much.

b107n83 Equal pay ? when your team makes as much as another team, you'll make more money. Everyone deserves to get paid the same when the job is the same, exceptions are sports and entertainment. If I'm a singer, should I expect to be paid the same as beyoncé? No, she's more popular, sells more tickets etc. You want more money, bring more fans...it's that simple.

shadowbeaver Pay should be solely based on viewership and sponsors of the sorts. If no one is watching a team/sport then they should be paid less. This team is absolutely amazing and should be paid more but not because they’re women. But Because they kick butt and are great
