The baby didn't die an ICE detention. She died 6 weeks later. She was treated several times and was given antibiotics during her stay at the detention facility. The mom is suing for 6 million dollars, for the death of her baby that happened outside of US custody. She was subjected to too much and she was too young and fragile. The Mom was trying to give her baby a better life, but with that journey comes sacrifice and consequence. I feel her pain I really do, but I don't think she completely grasped the outcomes that could occur from her choices. Im not sure she could have had adequate treatment for a viral lung infection in her home country. She was seeking asylum so it can be assumed the conditions there were bad, bad enough for her to make smuch a drastic choice. And the risk for the spread of infectious diseases is so high in those circumstances.

She is suing the united states. She’s dressed well. Has her nails done in several different photos. What condition was her daughter in when she illegally entered America?

I’m sorry but never blame. You are responsible. You should obey immigration law. I am from legal aliens. No excuses.

And FYI GW Bush enacted the policy to separate children from their parents. Facts people. Facts.

If you can't say anything nice in a case like this, don't say anything at all!
