She wasn’t any of that and to save her some shame, I asked her out and dated her. I’m not perfect but I know in Nigeria that the scales are tilted more in the favor of men. A man can brag about been seen with multiple women and will be referred to as a king, but a woman is not even allowed to talk about her sexuality talk-less of the number of men she’s been with. I knew that leaving her to deal with the shame alone in town would have broken her, so we rode in my car together, went for meeting together and helped each other get over the embracement of that night.
