Tonight, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the first of a two game series of the Major League Baseball #LondonSeries, in support of @WeAreInvictusGames.
Tonight’s highly anticipated game between the #Yankees and #RedSox took place at London stadium, Olympic Park.
The @WeAreInvictusGames, of which His Royal Highness is Founding Patron, has been selected as charity partner for the @MLB 2019 series. The Invictus Games Foundation is the international charity that oversees the development of the Invictus Games, an international adaptive multi-sport event in which wounded, injured or sick armed service personnel and veterans participate. It celebrates the power of sport in recovery and how it can help, physically or psychologically, those suffering from injuries or illness.
The word ‘invictus’ means ‘unconquered’ - it embodies the fighting spirit of the competitors.
As part of the partnership, the Invictus Games Foundation have a team participating in London’s #Softball60, the social softball series built for the city and targeted to introduce the sport to new audiences and demonstrate that it is an inclusive sport.
On this #ArmedForcesDay, tonight’s event was also a chance for Their Royal Highnesses to shine a light on the men and women here in the UK and around the world who have sacrificed so much for their country.

High maintenance people. No picture policy at wimbledon because she was there in private capacity? How about asking public money to renovate your house where you also have a life in private capacity? Court 1 of Wimbledon is a public place and everyone should be allowed to take picture of everyone duchess or not duchess. Ashamed of this new generation of high maintenance royals who want this want that and more as pleases them. Sad....

I can't get enough of Duchess Meghan's reaction to the shirt given to her for her babyboy Archie from from NY YANKEES.❤️? That gift took a lot of thought and work and love went into that shirt. I believe Baby Archie is the first Royal to recieve his very own name engraved on the wenner team shirt of his very own. What a sweet gift. This little baby boy Archie is already the most famous baby in the world. ❤️?

I just wanted to say as a mum i completley understand why u want to keep certain things private about youre baby and i think youre doing the right thing giving him a normal upbringing. You cant rule the world but you can rule youre destiny you must always follow youre heart dispite what others say as you are the parents and must mould their path way good luck and carry on the good job of being more like us
