These beautiful, eccentric creatures have exceptional eyesight which, allied with their periscope-like necks, makes them ideal security guards. Strong and gentle, quiet and agile, llamas are the perfect companion for a pack trip. With their padded foot, cleanliness, calm nature and ability to browse on a variety of vegetation, llamas have no more impact in the high country than a deer. Alert and surefooted, these beautiful Andean natives tote gear with ease, climbing up to Swan Lake, an area outside of Glacier National Park. whenlifestyle That is awesome!!!! I love llamas!!! Glacier National Park is awe inspiring. Massive, unmolested terrain with diverse landscape. Hiked Logan’s Pass in a day .... would not recommend making a day hike out of it (much younger then ?).
