To mark the #Stonewall anniversary, we asked five queer icons about their memories of the riots that sparked a queer revolution in America. 🏳️🌈
Victoria Cruz is a transgender activist and pioneer who has made strides for the #LGBTQ+ community in the past five decades, fighting to protect and empower the community through her work with the NYC Anti-Violence Project.
Paying tribute to Ms Colombia, a queer icon who died at Jacob Riis beach last year, we captured Victoria next to her memorial on that beach.
