designeralana I woke up this morning and pulled my doggie next to me tightly. With him going on 13 years old, I treasure those moments. At his urging, I stepped outside onto the grass and into the sunshine for a walk before work.... and decided to spend the next 45 minutes with a glove and grocery bag in hand -- picking up trash in the neighborhood. Dashing off to work, I saw the results of my hard work and recent projects and, if for just a moment, felt sweet reward. (Managing millions of $$ of inventory isnt easy....) I took a quick lunch to the post office to drop off packages of sequin skirts that I made, purchased from my Etsy store I've been running since 2011. (My clients come to me mainly for custom work, and I stayed up late sewing one for someone who is 6'3"!)On my way back to work, and after work, I'll be warming up for my show with my band tonight. I recently joined a classic rock and funk band here in LA and we are just getting started playing gigs. (Been singing country for 9 years with another band!) ......... the moral of the story......... we dont have to worry about other grass. YOURE RIGHT. MY GRASS is good enough. My grass deserves to be watered.... I dont watch TV, (although I applied for Project Runway 15 times).... I just live my life. Not worrying about what other people think is the best freedom. My grass is fantastic. ?❤️? it's because I've never stopped working on myself, and working to follow my deepest passions and daily dreams. Oh, and my work outfit today is stellar. #shoesup @ninagarcia
