In today’s #Pride episode of The Slow Down I’m answering one of your questions to bust a myth or stereotype about gay relationships!

Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻. I find it very interesting 😊
Do you personally know gays, who use the “man”/“woman” thing themselves? A former friend of mine, who is gay, talked about being the woman/the passive part of his gay relationship. Do you know other gays who use those stereotypes, too? What do you think about that?
Btw - I love watching your “real stuff”. (Not the sponsored videos, even though I know you need to make them for living.) Your personal growth over the years was/is phenomenal imo and that’s really great to see ☺️. You seem to be pretty in harmony with yourself 😊. I’m also interested in an update concerning your body hair. How do you feel in public with it?
Personally I can deal with showing my leg hair or my armpit hair. Both at the same time is pretty hard for me, even though it’s my second year with my body hair grown out 😕. Showing both at the same time is somehow to much for my self-esteem...
(If something from my message seems strange/odd, it’s perhaps because English is not my mother tongue...😊) Greetings from Germany ☺️

I'm loving this Slow Down!!! In my heterosexual relationship, I'm learning more and more that these "normal gender roles" dont have to apply anymore. I grew up very religious, so I came into this relationship with expectations on what the man does, what the woman does, but our relationship has grown so much in this understanding that those expectations don't define our relationship. I'm the main money maker in the relationship and that means my husband has been challenged to be okay with that, to focus on doing what he loves in his career and not on the money. Love this show, keep up the good work!!!

I’ve been watching your videos since you filmed a what’s in your poppy Coach bag in patent leather! I even went to your first meet up ever (Shepherds Bush, London) And you were the kindest person I have ever met. You were so energetic, sweet and kind. You let me take as many photos as I wanted with you! 🤣 Honestly, a memory I will forever cherish. I’m so proud of all your accomplishments since then. I’m so glad you are happy & healthy and still the same person I first watched all those years ago. 💜

Can you do a video on how you “grew a backbone” and kind elaborate on how you stick up for yourself when u feel like u can. I have gone from historically being quite a fighter and aggressive to being very passive and sometimes timid. I think it’s because I’m afraid of my own anger and don’t feel in control. I’d love to hear how u find that happy medium of being feminine and a woman but still taking control and sticking up for urself

Ok this legit makes no sense as multiple people have pointed out. You are calling out society for creating heteronormative gender roles in same sex relationships yet that is what you JUST DID my pointing out how you are more feminine and she is more masculine ??? You have 0 argument now. And I agree society does do this and it’s fucked but you just agreed with them so.... @ingridnilsen
