For as long as Anthony remembers his teenage years consisted of helping his father with Taronga Zoo’s food and manure runs. Anthony jumped at every opportunity to learn and grow as a zookeeper. His career of Zoo Keeping began at Taronga Zoo Sydney, then at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, before working abroad in England and Ireland.
Anthony has over 35 years’ experience and shares his great love for ungulates as Senior Keeper at Taronga Western Plains Zoo – specialising his skills sets in Hippopotamus dentistry that continues to amaze guests!
