Not only is #CraterLake #NationalPark in #Oregon one of the best places to watch a sunset, it’s also one of the snowiest places in America. Thanks to the hard work of the park’s snow plowing team, the North Entrance and West Rim Drive are now open. However, East Rim Drive and most trails remain closed due to remaining snow piles. With an average annual snowfall over 500 inches, it’s no surprise the snow usually lingers into July. leasrebecca It was my life goal to see Crater Lake and went last August but sadly couldn’t see this beauty due to the smoke. We stayed in the wonderful historic lodge and I still hiked but need to go back so I can really see the lake. It was Teddy Roosevelt’s fav place!????❤️
