WOW! I posted these old clips of me skateboarding on my stories yesterday and never imagined I would have received so many messages about it. I recently found out that one of the most iconic spots in skateboarding, “El Toro,” had been destroyed, so I wanted to pay homage to both the spot and my deep roots with skateboarding!
I attempted this rail when I was 17 and ended up getting pretty beat up (concussion, fractured wrist, bloody face, etc). But three years later I went back and landed the same trick. It was one of the scariest but most rewarding moments of my life!
I added a few other photos of me over the years and even though I don’t really skateboard anymore it taught me so many valuable lessons that have transferred to other aspects of my life and career.
One of which is that with PASSION, DEDICATION, and the BELIEF that it’s possible, you can do anything you set your mind to!
