It is #worldgiraffeday and I did a piece for @peoplepets back in 2016 about the “ silent extinction” of this beautiful and taken for granted species. This is Kiko, he currently lives at @sheldricktrust where he has been raised since being orphaned as a baby. He will be released into the Wild when a safe place is found for him. I’m lucky to have been able to be close to him, i literally have thousands of pics of giraffe from my travels. They are curious and skittish at the same time. I hope that we can step up to help save them.....
