My 73 year old Mom is going in for heart surgery today. She’s having a device permanently implanted called the Watchman, designed to close the left atrial appendage in the heart in an effort to reduce the risk of stroke (because of her tendency to afib, which leads to clots). If you can spare any positive vibes, feel free to send them her way. Because if you remotely enjoy or have tolerated my yammering in the past, it’s because of this lady. My talky Mom’s Gift of Gab is so strong, she didn’t just kiss the Blarney Stone - she must’ve deep-throated it! Then she passed it on to her youngest kid. I Love You, Mom!
