That may seem kind of boastful but when I look at this picture is see such a resilience. . . Over the past 36 years this body has taken a beating... I’ve driven it like a rental at times, just rallied through my 20s, that’s for sure. . I flipped it onto a rock and broke it in half when I was just 17... repaired the structural damage but it never quite ran the same and I had to get some after market parts (wheelchair) to keep it on the road. . I’ve not always fed this rental the right grade of fuel... booze, sugar, so many sleepless nights...you name it. . About 5 years ago I ran it into another rock while ski race training and broke my shoulder nearly clean off. Repaired that. I’ve had carpel tunnel surgery and more dents and scratches and superficial wounds than I can count. . And now, I’ve asked this beautiful and resilient body to do one of the most difficult and miraculous things it will ever do... create a human. . . There’s still some broke pieces and I’d rattle if you shake me (@dangerouscarny) but this little human inside is comfy, kicking and flipping and growing peacefully in its little womb. There’s gas in the tank, and that’s all we need. .
