In a 1910s mansion on Chicago’s Lake Michigan, superstar decorator @abranca uses color and rich texture to transform the four-story home. “You want to feel both wrapped in solitude and ready to go out into the world,” says Branca of the space. The bathroom, which was—as requested by the client—reminiscent of the lapis lazuli pool at the Hearst Castle, features custom mosaic tiles which took nine months to source.
