14 million people in the U.K today live in poverty. At least 320,000 are homeless, and over the past 18 months more than 800 have died, Without a home, on the streets of one of the richest nations on earth. The oldest was 94 years old.

In "Homeless - an exhibition for change" - artivist Daniel K Swan shares the past 4 years of his life spent understanding this issue from the inside out.

Through this exhibition Daniel answers the question: "Why is this happening and how do we change it?" On June 12th, 7pm at the Painting rooms, we invite you to become part of the answer. @mybeautifulcity @robinscottlawson

nates_88 Staggering. I recently read an article regards a homeless girl on the streets of Oxford whom confronted a burglar, returning a laptop and cash to LUSH. You may of seen it! This truly moved me. A young woman who has nothing to her name but purity and goodness. Awesome cause ??????

ucapairsoft If an actor was worth £4million and their rent on their NYC apartment used up all their money each month meaning that they couldn’t buy toothpaste, they would be defined as “living in poverty” What is it with the mega rich telling us about poverty!

alias9forever It happens because rich people spend 2, 3, 4 and more million dollars to buy a painting to put it on their walls at home. They can give that money to poor people and take a picture of their happiness and put it on their walls.
