Before traveling to Bhutan, I knew little (or nothing) about Bhutanese food but it is an interesting and unique cuisine that uses a lot of chili peppers. One of the most characteristic dishes is Ema Datshi or chilies cooked with local Bhutanese fresh cheese (made from cow or yak’s milk).
