"As a photographer, I work in contexts that are defined by multiple, competing narratives, between which people and places are often caught. In war, opposing sides fight to impose their own narratives, which tend to morph over time, reversing their roles to create a fluid space where the distinction between good and evil, friend and foe, victim and perpetrator, are no longer apparent. Truth and objectivity are elusive in these shifting sands, but it is precisely in this ambiguous arena where my obsession lies.” - @moisessaman
