Best advice is to use the oven early in the morning in Summer time (if unlike me, you get a good night's sleep when it's hot), or late at night, unless if you have an electric oven. That would not be a "green" choice. This is a a fridge cleaning savory pie, or "torta rustica", into which I stuffed whatever was in the fridge: some rather old chard, blanched. Some feta cheese. Lemond zest and juice. Mint leaves. One whole egg and an egg white. Olive oil. And smokey paprika just because! Used the egg yolk and some olive oil to brush the top. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I tried a simple pie crust with butter, but it needs a looot of improvement.
