'There aren’t many #islands with vegetation in the #Maldives so when you come across one with a verdant landscape, it’s really something spectacular. Islands are a mix small towns and fishing communities, and resorts that often lay claim to their own island. The islands are not abundant in wildlife either, with only a number of bird species and fruit bats to be found.
