Lightning raining down over Colorado Springs, illuminating the sky and silhouetting the spires of the #GardenOfTheGods. The green hue in the clouds is the color reaction from day light film (Fuji Velvia In this case) from the reflected city light. These days you would just simply adjust your white balance but on film your pretty much obligated to whats loaded in the camera! I came across this slide a few weeks ago while sorting through old film I need to scan, fun trip down memory lane looking at my early photos. Photographed in 1999, a 30 second exposure on a @NikonUSA F5 and 50mm lens.
