... @thebrentsmith there is a fundamental difference between self respect, and vanity. Now in some circumstances society will reward vanity, and discourage, and even mock self respect. In most dictionaries the definition of vanity is “Something that is vain, empty, or valueless”, meanwhile self respect is defined as “ A proper respect for oneself as a human being”. The reason I’m pointing out these two characteristics, is because we live in a society that is growing more, and more hyper sensitive to being the definition of perfection, even if it means contradicting what YOU, truly believe in... Slow down... Take a breath... Collect yourself, and You’re Thoughts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look, and feel good about yourself. Because you are not empty, and you’re life has enormous value, and YOU my friend are an extraordinary human being✊❤️👊
