My first time seeing & photographing the “blue hour”.... which I used to think was just a funny term people used when it was cloudy & late in the day, but in fact it is a very real phenomena. After a little digging it was explained like this: The blue hour occurs when the Sun is far enough below the horizon so that the sunlight's blue wavelengths dominate due to the Chappuis absorption caused by ozone.
What a world.
