Some of the comments when @skratchtv had posted about their participation in pride month, was disheartening. There was so much hatred and homophobia. I honestly wasn't expecting it. But it showed me that is exactly the reason why we need visibility and why it's so important. It's not necessarily to change the minds of those people, but it's to help our youth and those that are dealing with discrimination and hatred. To know that they're not alone and they are loved.
Showing who we are and being honest about that gives others a space to be themselves. That is what drives me...and I'm so thankful that I have this platform to share a little of my story. 🥰 •
