Whilst is the discussion of linking words & languages back through ancient ancestry & migratory paths, the name Manu appears in ancient Sanskrit. As in the biblical survival story of Noah, Manu survived the Great Flood also & was attributed the title "first man" be it "man'u". The word man is believed to have ancient Germanic roots via man or manna. Interstingly mana is a Maori word associated commonly with strong male presence, dignity or strength yet the word manu itself translates to bird. Perhaps a bird attributes migration or another similar variance because of its ability to fly. I travel so much I'll own it!! I believe the best way of reconnecting human history is through common stories & words.
