My newly decorated shelves are filled with a combination of personal objects and gorgeous home decor items #FoundAtMoMA, like the Raawii Strom green pitcher, the bright yellow wire mesh bowl, Frida Kahlo and Andy Warhol wooden dolls, and more. I know you can't really see what is in the frames due to the reflections, but it's a photo of Mazzy with Mike's dad Harold (shortly before he passed away), a wedding photo of my grandparents, a watercolor done of Mike and me when we were first dating (by director Michel Gondry of all people), a black and white photo my mother took for a photography class back in high school and a photo of my mom, my sister and me as a side-by-side with me, Mazzy and Harlow. The two paintings are one Mazzy made of sunset in preschool and a Picasso print #FoundAtMoMA, so you know— totally on the same level. I also finally hung a gallery wall in my hallway which has been my dream since forever. All those paintings were purchased during various travels throughout my life, and then left unceremoniously leaning against walls for the past 10+ years.
