It sounds cliche but if I actually sit down and make room for this, even if it’s just ten minutes, it actually helps and makes a difference, especially during weeks where there are deadlines, packed schedules and all the unfun adulting tasks (like getting cars inspected). . One thing I feel extremely thankful for amidst the grinds and routines is my studio space and the daily practice of journaling. The best part about creating an at-home studio is that it can change form, be rearranged, or even find itself by a new area or window. Sometimes when I’m facing creative blocks just the simplest movement or rearranging of items will inspire my palette with a fresh idea.
