I remember a moment like this that initially began in the desert and came to fruition on a quiet rock near the waves of the Pacific Ocean. I sat out on that rock for hours and upon my own awakening, I didn’t waste a moment afterwards. I got myself the first flight out to where I knew I needed to be, which was not where I truly in all honesty wanted to go. Not all stepping stones are ideal but they still lead to the promise. But somewhere in all of that, I managed to twirl in the ocean knee deep with my jeans on, get to an In-N-Out drive thru and barely make my flight, still with sopping wet jeans. I suppose if you’re gonna start a new journey, go full out, with all heart, and thank the heavens when it kisses your feet in the ocean before you set out. . . .
