The science of shape ～ zooming into the atelier process.
The ‘Blaschka’ dress was made from a soft 3D hand-casted transparent PU that was hand-painted through injection molding. After taking the air bubbles out it was poured into vacuum formed moulds while it was still liquid, to then be lined with a fine silk tulle.
The dress was inspired by the incredible delicate glass marine models of Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka.
