I feel like I want to find a solution before I talk about the problem. His hips and back legs are hurting more and more, it’s arthritis and hip dysplasia. I’ve got him on glucosamine and chondroitin, laser therapy and cartrophen injections. I give him hip massages, and don’t do anything too impactful with him. I’m feeding him Ziwi Peak an air dried dog food with green lipped mussels. I’m gonna start him on fish oils too. Momo of course thinks he’s a puppy, so it’s my job now to make sure he’s doing low-impact exercises, that he rests properly, that he doesn’t twist his hips too much. I’ve been carrying him a lot more too if the ground is too uneven or tricky to walk on. A good exercise for me 😌 It’s all part of life and I’m so happy to be here with him in any stage. I’m still hoping he makes a bit of a comeback but it’s been a bit tricky. He’s still got a lot of life and love in him, I know it. I’ll update again as all these things progress!」5月20日 13時12分
